What You Should Know About...


Getting Your Purchase Fast

Wayside Furniture & Mattress can deliver most of what you see within 10 days.

If you absolutely, positively, must have your purchase by a certain date, we STRONGLY recommend buying from our inventory. Wayside Furniture & Mattress cannot promise date of delivery for special order or due-in merchandise. We enjoy the challenge of working closely with you and the factory to get what you want within an approximate time frame, but please understand there are no guarantees. Delays are common and frustrating! (extreme weather, U.S. Customs, fabric and part delays, shortages, etc.) Wayside does not want to spoil your party.

Financing Your Purchase

Third party financing is available for those who qualify. All payments will begin approximately 30 days after furniture is received and payments are to be made directly to third party, NOT Wayside Furniture & Mattress.

Picking Up Your Furniture

Wayside Furniture & Mattress does not include a "delivery fee" in every piece of furniture we sell. Picking up your furniture may save money; or, it may simply be more convenient than making delivery arrangements.

Things to keep in mind when picking up your furniture:

  • Our warehouse is spread out over four acres. Please allow a minimum of 20 minutes to pick up your furniture (Calling ahead may save time).

  • We will kindly help load your purchase but cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred after leaving our premises. Bring blankets and rope.

  • Furniture picked up at the warehouse may require assembly. Many pieces are not in cartons.

  • Many items require repair and or touch-up. Wayside Furniture & Mattress WILL NOT open several boxes "hoping" to find a "better one". In most cases our professional craftsmen can address issues better than the factory, but it can take time and be frustrating.

  • You are responsible for transportation to and from Wayside warehouse for issues related to damage, missing parts, assembly or warranty work.

Your Furniture Delivery

The benefits of having your furniture professionally delivered include:

  • Experienced furniture craftspeople opening, inspecting, assembling and "deluxing" your furniture before delivery.

  • Delivery and set-up in your home.

  • Free in-home service for one year.

Due to our large volume, wide delivery area and unforeseen delays (traffic, weather, tight fits, etc.) Wayside cannot give delivery times. Most deliveries are completed between 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM.

Cancelling or postponing your delivery with less than 36 hours notice will result in a non-refundable $50 handling fee.

All orders must be paid in full before delivery.

Any furniture not delivered within 30 days will be assessed a $50 per month non-refundable storage charge.

Use our online delivery tracker for an estimated delivery time window or to track your delivery.

Additional delivery fees will be assessed for any redelivery-no one home, refused delivery, did not fit, etc.

Please do not refuse delivery because of minor damage or defects. Our craftsmen can usually take care of the problem more quickly than the manufacturer and with less inconvenience to you.

Large items do not fit through tight doorways, narrow halls or stairways. Unsuccessful deliveries can be COSTLY! No refunds on delivery fees due to size and there are fees to try again. No refunds on special orders that do not fit and there are restocking fees. Consider options to prevent costly frustration.

  • Purchase split queen box springs.

  • Purchase pieces you have and know fit.

  • Purchase smaller pieces or modular pieces to build large items.


30 Day Price Protection

If you bring in a competitors advertisement or sales receipt with the same product and service at a lower price. Wayside will credit you 110% of the difference. If Wayside has the item in stock and the competitor does not, we do not consider it the same product. If the competitor is more than 100 miles away, we do not consider it the same service.


Return on Special Orders

There are no refunds on special orders. Special order merchandise may be returned within 10 days of delivery for an in-store credit less delivery/pickup and protection charges and a 33% restocking fee. No returns/refunds on special order table pads, mattresses, adjustable bases, cut yardage or decorative pillows.

Return on Stock Merchandise

Regularly stocked merchandise may be returned within 10 days of delivery for a full refund or in store credit less delivery/pickup and protection charges.

All refunds take up to 10 working days from the time your purchase is returned.

Protection, storage and delivery charges are non refundable.

No returns or refunds on final sale items, mattresses, mattress pads/pillows/bedding, adjustable bases, or anything that has been in your home more than 10 days.


Mattress Comfort Assurance

Some mattresses qualify for returns, partial refunds or re-selections. Excludes foundation/adjustable bases. See store for qualifying sets and details. Delivery fees, handling fees and pro-rata deductions will apply.

Note: Mattresses can be like new shoes or jeans; they can take a while to get comfortable and they WILL show comfort zones.


Wayside Furniture & Mattress GUARANTEE OF SATISFACTION

Wayside Furniture & Mattress will service your furniture at no charge within one year of delivery regardless of brand or construction. After that period, parts and labor may be charged depending on the age of the furniture, nature of the repair, the repair time required and the manufacturer's warranty. Picked up items must be returned to our warehouse for any warranty work.

This warranty does not apply to:

  • The wearing qualities, pilling, color fastness (fading) and cleanability of fabrics and other upholstery materials.

  • Furniture which has been rented, used commercially or no longer in the possession of the original purchaser.

  • Conditions resulting from negligence (ie excessive water or heat on wood tops), improper use, alteration, fire or other casualty.

  • Final sale items.

  • Tailoring and cushions on relaxed styles..ie. slipcovers, soft cushions, wedges and pillow-top seating.

  • Body impressions on mattress sets.

  • Gaps and wrinkling/stretched material on reclining furniture, wedges, chaises and large seats.

  • Furniture used by people that exceed factory weight limits.

UPON ACCEPTANCE OF THE MERCHANDISE, ANY DENTS, TEARS, SCRATCHES OR SIMILAR DAMAGE IS NO LONGER THE RESPONSIBILITY OF WAYSIDE FURNITURE.

MANUFACTURERS' WARRANTIES - Wayside will honor our manufacturers' warranties based on the terms and conditions presented at the time of the sale. Most do not include transportation.
