Kincaid: Heirloom-Quality Furniture
Kincaid has been producing high-quality, solid wood furniture since its inception in 1946. Since then we've expanded to include a line of fashionable, customizable-fabric upholstery, and updated our solid-wood product line for today's home with tech-savvy pieces, alternative storage options, and smaller scale furniture. Kincaid also pioneered a new take on room decor by introducing the Artisan's Shoppe collection, allowing you to completely revamp your room's look with the addition of one exceptionally unique piece of furniture.
Kincaid's solid wood furniture is made in America whenever possible, as we want to offer you the best options in classic casual furniture design, while still being true to our values and commitment to community. Kincaid continues to show accountability and integrity far beyond the range of other furniture companies by creating the first ever collection for the American Home Furnishings Alliance's Eco3Home program, signifying adherence to all mandatory and voluntary standards for safety, heath, and environmental stewardship.
The Solid Wood Quality Difference
Kincaid makes furniture the way we always have, with the quality construction methods and value-added details you've come to trust. Wood furniture features mortise and tenon joinery, the superior holding power of dovetailed drawers, heavy, reinforced front posts, fully floating tops and end panels, and adjustable levelers. Wood finishes are applied in 16 or more steps to ensure depth, beauty, and durability for your solid wood pieces.
The people responsible for building Kincaid Furniture, are some of the most experienced and best in the industry. With men and women who have perfected their craft at Kincaid for as many as 40 years, we enjoy a level of commitment and quality not found in many companies.
Why solid wood?
What sets Kincaid apart from other furniture manufacturers is our solid wood construction. Unlike wood furniture made from flimsy wood veneers and fused particleboard with plastic edges, Kincaid's solid wood cases won't warp and are guaranteed to last a lifetime.
The Eco3Home Commitment
Kincaid furniture is part of the American Home Furnishings Alliance, the 400 company large trade association that gave life to the Eco3Home program. This multi-step initiative requires furniture manufacturers to meet or exceed all voluntary and mandatory environmental protection guidelines. Locally and across their global supply chain, furniture companies worked to build a sustainable manufacturing practice that will safeguard the world's natural resources for future generations. The "3" in Eco3Home refers to our top three priorities: that this furniture will be safe, healthy to live with, and environmentally-friendly.
Your well-being is important, so Eco3Home safety standards go above and beyond the call. All Eco3Home products meet or exceed current federal safety standards and industry-adopted voluntary standards.
The air you breathe. The fabrics that touch your skin. The place you call home. Eco3Home furnishings were made with your family’s health in mind, meeting standards that limit the presence of substances considered unhealthy in your home.
Furniture should impact your home—not the environment. Eco3Home-registered products were made by companies that work both at home and abroad to source sustainably, conserve water and energy, reduce waste and increase recycling.
